When i was just a child, i was careless, carefree.
I don't care about what's happening to our society. Until i reached high school. Everything changed after graduating high school. I took Mass Communication as my career course, maybe because i had a huge fear of Mathematics subject. College is a whole lot different from highschool. At my school, most of the students are like me, i mean in terms of being carefree, careless, well, can i blame them? they're also students, minding their own monkey business. As for me, as a "go getter" type of person, i joined a lot of organizations that honed up mu skills. But, after i was part of the UPHL gazette, as a student journalist i found out that life really isn't that good. It isn't about rainbows and butterflies. It awas really tough for me at first, but now, im really feeling the intense pressure of this organization. I learned to appreciate the little things around me.In addition, i learned to be abreast with the current events that's happening around me.
Really, i learned a lot. and I'm willing to learn more. Anyway, i'm still young, i WILL learn more.
Now, do you ask me if I'm still carefree?HECK nO! i still have to learn.

A Fun-filled Trip

Confused, Excited and happiness. These are the emotions that i felt Sunday morning before the Gazette Orientation. Not a clue for what to happen in the day. Really, i wasn't able to get a good night sleep thinking what in store for us apprentices.
I want to explore new and exciting things in my life. New experiences, New faces, New Friends, New capabilities, New potentialities. That is my mission in joining the UPHL Gazette.
The Orientation was held in Tagaytay. As i was expecting, ther are some discussions about what the organization and the persons behind it all. There are some discussions about the historical sketch of it. I've learned a lot from the Editorial Board. Not only educating us and honing our skills in writing, but also enlightening us in the realities of life.They defined the concept of "For Whom?"
The Editors?! They're like my brothers and sisters, very approachable and kind. They are very intact and well bonded with each other. Critical Thinkers, that's what they are.
Well, the orientation is not all about discussions, there's also games and different activities that hones my writing and thinking ability.

A Strong Weakling

I've felt stars falling unto me.
In my life I always commit mistakes and I hate it.
I don't have self control and sometimes I'm very reckless and i can't do a specific task properly.
I always get the blame because of the usual mistakes that i made.
I usually cry alone beacause of it.
I'm not perfect nobody is.
So for me, as what i can show to all my friends and relatives,
This is the real me.
I'm not pretending to anyone else.
But because of these mistakes, I learn,
To be Strong,
And to be proper as i can be.
I have my own talents and potentialities that will help me achieve my goals in life.
With the help of God, mentors, friends and families,
I will be strong.
So whenever stars fall unto me again,
I've learned to defend myself and throw these stars back to the sky and wish to shine on me again.

Friendship

Let's admit we make mistakes

It's a sad affair

But althrough these mistakes

we learn through them.

We both went to sorrow and heartbreaks

We also both share our little bit of dramas.

Sounds funny but

You were there even my dog was sick.

Now, even though we'll had different paths to take

I know i can still count on you.

Still deep in my heart i'll never forget you.

Destiny

Everything happens for a reason, But we don't know where or when it will happen. It maybe cruel, unhappy or deceitful. We just have to accept it, its our fate.
Happiness may it bring but most especially it will brong good and exciting conclusion.
Don't Forget that God is always watching, caring, and guiding us in every little way that he can.
Have Faith, he is the one controllong our destiny.
So don't be too mad when time comes that you think god is punishing you.
Think twice. "Is it his fault or mine?"
Be Wise. Obstacles may come your way, don't let it threaten you.
Be Strong and Brave, you can face all the challenges ahead of you.
Just remember that in every little thing that you do,
Put your best foot forward.
